This survey was sent to 107 people who gave their email addresses at the end of the 2010 event. Information of the survey was also posted as a message on Brockley Central blog spot.
The results below are supplied by our email list management service. Of the 47 people who opened the email 29 click through to the survey. A total of 32 people completed the survey with the maximum of 26 people posting comments.

We felt a bit 'sheparded' compared to the year before and also missed the hot drinks by the chapel (although I am aware that that was not your choice)

Possibly more could have been made of the locals that fought and died and were duried in the cemetry-- to give it even more of a local rememberence.

The previous year we had been able to go to the Rivolli Ballroom for drinks afterwards. I missed this in 2010.

allowing myself to drift between the works, taking time to reflect in the darkness.

The low level of lighting, Films projected onto yew trees. Unamplified music audible from around the churchyard. A man with his hand on his daughter's shoulder, both watching the dance performance with serious faces side-lit with a crimson glow. Following the trail of dim glows. I think it was wonderful the way you created such a long circuitious route through the dark.

I loved being able to watch my sons faces as they listened to the poets, and also to have a platform to talk about their grand and great grandparents experiences of the war (s) . I enjoyed the piper at the end.

Please continue with these kinds of events. Might be worth having a school afternoon when you invite school groups in. That might also support any funding bids.

That you do it again - and selfishly I would like you to do it in Brockley, please. I would really like it to become an annual event here, I would be prepared to travel but too long a journey lessens the impact, forcing one too quickly back to the mundane. It is a wonderful and emotional experience and the organisers learnt from mistakes in their first year. They did not have the generator noise that detracted from the event in 2009 and the vistitors moved more smoothly past the performers. It is something that can only get better and better.

We really appreciated the event in 2010, but it did not feel as magical as 2009 somehow. The music and performances seemed to flow better that first year we attended - having said that, I am very grateful for the event happening at all so thankyou!

Approaching the gates on Brockley Road the number of police was a little disconcerting after the events that had taken place a couple of days earlier in the student fees protests.
