Audience & Communities

The aim of Silent Cacophony is draw attention of the local community to an event that took place in their neighbourhood generations hence yet still reverberates through personal memory, family impact, architecture and the local urban landscape.

Live performances will be used as a frame, as in a picture frame, to capture the silence that many who survive sudden explosions often describe.  Understanding the importance of silence to life is frequently overlooked; during tragic times many people find that it is in the silence they find solace.

We are looking to partner local people who live or work near sites of the many explosions that took place during the Zeppelin and V2 attacks.

We are especially interested in discussing collaboration with those who presently live/work/own one of the bombsites listed on our maps or have personal memories about these attacks.   For contact details [click here
