Re-imagining Ladies Tights project works with a number of partner organisations. We are very proud and thankful to London borough of Camden, Veolia Environmental Services and The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama for their support during the 2014 project and also the numerous associations, groups and individuals throughout Camden who are contributing to making the project what it is. Thank you!

MA Music Theatre students from the world renowned conservatoire will be creating a number of site specific performances around public locations in Camden based on stories collected about tights.

As Camden council’s principal contractor for waste management Veolia look to assist in events promoting recycling. For ‘Veolia Song’ performances, the company is providing a working bin truck.

As with all London boroughs, Camden recognises more needs to be done to improve recycling rates and are looking at ways to reach and engage all areas of the community. This project is just one route.

Following a successful Platform-7 project on the politics of videocassettes in 2012, Lewisham council commissioned the Re-imagining Ladies Tights project in 2013 with funding from Arts Council England to raise awareness of textile recycling across the borough.
